I built an iOS app for Ghost publishers
Geistify is a mobile app for Ghost publishers that I built while learning iOS development. Now I'm publishing on Ghost myself to use it in the wild.
I'm a product designer at Ghost, and I've been an Apple fanboy forever. For years I wanted to build an iOS app but could never get past tutorials. Nothing stuck because I had no real reason to build.
Two years ago, during Christmas break in Thailand, I decided to try again. This time with something I actually understood: Ghost.
I figured if I'm going to spend nights and weekends learning Swift and SwiftUI, I should build something I'd care about. So I built Geistify, a mobile app for Ghost publishers.
Check your stats and member growth. Browse and filter your members. Get notified when things happen on your site. All from your phone.
Here's the funny part. I built this app before I even started publishing on Ghost myself. This is my first post as a Ghost publisher, so now I get to use Geistify on my own site.
